Taking to press, the Official Charts Company announced that there is a three-way battle for the #1 single this week. Currently, Billie Eilish‘s ‘What Was I Made For,’ Dua Lipa’s ‘Dance The Night,’ and Olivia Rodrigo‘s ‘Vampire’ are all in the running with less than 1,000 units separating them.
If ‘Dance The Night’ performs well, then Lipa will score her fourth #1 single in the country and her first solo #1 since her breakout single ‘New Rules.’
Eilish was #1 last week with ‘What Was I Made For’ being her first #1 song since 2020.
